What we do
Four programs
The Interlink Foundation is organized around four program areas. Each program has its own budget, goals, and mechanisms for continuous improvement and growth.
Interlink Foundation Books
Imprint · Archive · Editorial · Translation · Classroom bookshelves
Produces, publishes and promotes high quality, beautifully illustrated books that showcase and preserve cultural heritage, and addresses the exclusion of diverse voices in mainstream publishing — by commissioning, publishing, translating or archiving narrative works that capture key cultural moments.
Through the Foundation’s publishing imprint, digital archiving, editorial, translation and publishing services, and our classroom bookshelves initiative, we ensure that essential stories and important works of literature, art and architecture, photography and traditional craft remain accessible for future generations.

Arabic Literature-in-Translation
Translation · Author tours · Study guides
Supports the translation, production, publication and promotion of leading writers from the Arab World whose voices are unheard in the West.
In collaboration with the International Prize for Arabic Fiction — the most prestigious literary prize for contemporary Arabic fiction — the program organizes annual tours of award-winning Arab authors and their translators to twelve colleges and universities as well as bookstores. It also prepares study guides to encourage class adoption by professors and educators.

Storyteller Collaborative
Retreats · Mentorship · Community · Skill development
Nurtures writers, illustrators and literary professionals from underrepresented communities through retreats, community building and skill development initiatives.
Events such as the Arab Writers Retreat, and initiatives like Palestinian KidLit camp and Queer KidLit camp — mentor groups for Palestinian and Queer writers of children’s literature — offer vital space for creative growth and cultural exchange, supported by a growing network of partnerships.
What’s coming up
Read and Resist

Engages the public through author tours, community events and literary gatherings that promote storytelling and cross-cultural dialogue.
