Foundation Books

Interlink Foundation Books produces, publishes and promotes high quality, beautifully illustrated books that showcase and preserve cultural heritage, and address the exclusion of diverse voices in mainstream publishing — by commissioning, publishing, translating or archiving narrative works that capture key cultural moments.

Through the Foundation’s publishing imprint, digital archiving, editorial, translation and publishing services, and our classroom bookshelves initiative, we ensure that essential stories and important works of literature, art and architecture, photography and traditional craft remain accessible for future generations.

The Difference Between Bullets and Stones: Palestine in Words and Images

November 2026

A collaboration between Pulitzer Prize-winning Palestinian poet Mosab Abu Toha and award-winning American photographer Michael Christopher Brown. The book unites Mosab’s poems from Gaza with Michael’s photographs from the West Bank and Jerusalem, illuminating the grief, resilience and vitality of Palestinian life. With close to two hundred photographs, it seeks not to shock but to invite recognition: here are people, their routines, their grief, their courage.

“Mosab Abu Toha is the essential poet embodying the humanity of Gaza … His elemental poems dissolve the empty rhetoric and posturing with simple, striking truth.”Naomi Shihab Nye, author of The Tiny Journalist
